Job Description

As a Procurement Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing sourcing strategies to meet business goals.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and developing supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms.
  • Monitoring market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align sourcing activities with business objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
  • Managing risks within the supply chain to maintain business continuity.
  • Analysing procurement data to inform decision-making and improve efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Manager should have:

  • A solid understanding of procurement and supply chain processes within the FMCG industry,.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Strong in project management.
  • The ability to analyse market trends and procurement data effectively, especially Chinese market.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing sourcing strategies.
  • Knowledge of relevant procurement regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Chinese Speaking
