To lead and manage all production operations, ensuring output meets customer requirements on time and within cost targets, while driving continuous improvement in manufacturing efficiency, product quality and waste reduction across the factory.

Our client is a leading packaging and consumer products manufacturer, specializing in plastic packaging, household goods, and industrial products, serving both domestic and multinational customers across Vietnam and the region.

Job Description

1. Production Operation Management
* Lead all daily production activities.
* Ensure production output meets customer requirements.
* Achieve production plan and delivery commitments.
* Monitor and improve production efficiency.
* Ensure production resources are effectively utilized.
* Review production performance on a daily basis.
* Drive operational excellence initiatives.

2. Production System & Manufacturing Excellence
* Develop and maintain a robust manufacturing system.
* Implement Lean Manufacturing principles across production lines.
* Drive Kaizen culture and continuous improvement mindset.
* Lead OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) improvement programs.
* Improve production flow and eliminate bottlenecks.
* Eliminate waste across all production processes.
* Standardize production processes and operating procedures.
* Lead operational excellence projects.

3. Production Quality Management
* Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
* Drive defect reduction programs and zero-defect initiatives.
* Lead production quality reviews.
* Support customer audits and third-party quality inspections.
* Ensure process compliance with quality standards and procedures.
* Lead root cause investigations for quality non-conformances.
* Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

The Successful Applicant

* Bachelor's Degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum 7-10 years of production/manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or team-leader role.
* Strong background in plastics manufacturing (injection molding, blow molding, or Melamine) is highly preferred.
* Proven track record in implementing Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, OEE improvement and waste reduction programs.
* Solid understanding of production planning, quality management systems (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949) and manufacturing cost control.
* Experience managing multi-shift operations and large production teams (50+ people).
* Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical and cross-functional communication skills.
* Good command of English; Vietnamese is required for local team coordination.
