We are seeking an experienced Head of Project Management to lead the coordination and execution of customer orders across Hardlines categories. This role serves as the key link between Sales, Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and major international retail customers, ensuring customer orders are delivered on time, within quality standards, and in line with business objectives.

Our client is a fast-growing export manufacturing company specializing in timber, handicraft, and ceramic products, supplying major international retailers across North America and other global markets.

Job Description

  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of customer orders from order receipt through production, shipment, and delivery.
  • Monitor critical milestones, identify potential delays, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, workflows, and tracking tools to improve order visibility and execution efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate setup and maintenance of customer programs and item data in retailer portals and internal systems.
  • Establish reporting dashboards and performance metrics to track order status, OTIF (On Time In Full), production progress, and delivery performance.
  • Proactively identify operational bottlenecks and implement preventive solutions.
  • Lead regular cross-functional meetings to review order commitments, production capacity, material availability, and shipment schedules.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Production, Planning, Quality, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure alignment on customer requirements.
  • Review order feasibility before acceptance, considering capacity constraints, lead times, margins, and operational risks.
  • Escalate critical issues to leadership and drive timely resolution.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across planning and execution processes.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in project management, order management, supply chain, operations, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and customer order fulfillment.
  • Experience in timber, handicrafts, ceramics, furniture, home décor, or similar export-oriented industries is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience working directly with major international retailers such as Walmart, Target, Costco, Home Depot, Lowe's, or equivalent retail customers.
  • Familiarity with retailer portals, compliance requirements, and vendor management processes.
