Job Description

As a Regional Business Development Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage regional product portfolio to ensure growth, profitability, and competitive positioning.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and white spaces.
  • Guide and support local BD teams in lead generation and business development activities.
  • Drive value‑based pricing and lifecycle management to optimize GP and reduce complexity.
  • Anticipate product shortages and coordinate cross‑functional solutions.
  • Support "Make or Buy" decisions through cost, cash, and supply chain assessments.
  • Lead internal/external training and promotional initiatives.
  • Represent the company at industry events, fairs, and seminars.
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing and technology partners on regional campaigns and projects.
  • Identify regional product needs and feed insights into innovation pipelines.
  • Support screening of new products and lead regional product launches.
  • Align product positioning, pricing strategy, and target costing with global leadership.
  • Generate qualified leads for sales and support profitable growth initiatives.
  • Coordinate technical service and application lab activities to meet customer expectations.
  • Work closely with sales teams to support CRM opportunities and customer projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Regional Business Development Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Textile Technology, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing or product management of technical products (preferably textile chemicals).
  • 1-2 years of practical experience in textile production or laboratory environments.
  • Strong knowledge of textile chemicals, market dynamics, integrated supply chain, import/export, and procurement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent English required (additional language is a plus).
  • Proven experience working in international environments and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Innovative, analytical, customer‑oriented, and strong team-player mindset.
  • Ability to coordinate senior technical teams and manage complex promotional activities.
