We are hiring for a qualified lawyer to join a well-established international law firm in Vietnam. This role is ideal for an experienced lawyer who regularly advises foreign-invested and international clients on complex legal matters.

Job Description

  • Advise international clients on corporate, investment, and regulatory matters in Vietnam
  • Provide legal support to foreign-invested companies across their operations
  • Work with government authorities on licensing, approvals, and regulatory issues
  • Communicate with clients, partners, and stakeholders on ongoing matters
  • Independently manage legal and tax-related projects
  • Lead and mentor junior lawyers and review their work
  • Deliver training and support the development of the legal team
  • Contribute to business development and represent the firm in the market



The Successful Applicant

  • Vietnamese-qualified lawyer with 8-12 years of experience
  • Background in international or cross-border legal work (law firm experience preferred)
  • Strong expertise in corporate law, foreign investment, and compliance
  • Admitted to the Vietnam Bar (additional foreign qualification is a plus)
  • Fluent in Vietnamese and English
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills
  • Able to handle multiple matters and work under pressure
  • Professional, proactive, and committed long-term

Experience in one or more of the following is highly valued:

  • Foreign investment and enterprise law
  • M&A and commercial law

  • Arbitration and litigation
  • Tax, customs, and trade regulations
  • Intellectual property
