Our client is seeking a Legal & Compliance manager who will be responsible for overseeing all legal, regulatory, and compliance-related matters. This role serves as the primary point of contact for legal advisory, contract management, and governance matters within the organization. The role supports business operations by managing legal risks, ensuring compliance and internal policies.

Job Description

Commercial Contracts & Risk Management

  • Review and provide guidance on non-standard agreements, including major commercial and procurement contracts
  • Ensure consistency with internal approval frameworks and risk guidelines
  • Maintain structured tracking of contract reviews to support reporting and long-term analysis



Governance & Regulatory Administration

  • Manage corporate governance activities, including board and shareholder documentation and processes
  • Oversee statutory filings and coordination with relevant regulatory authorities
  • Ensure timely completion of required approvals and filings across jurisdictions



Disputes & External Counsel Coordination

  • Liaise with external legal advisors on disputes, litigation, and arbitration matters
  • Support resolution of commercial and customer-related issues
  • Maintain records and reporting for ongoing cases, including updates to regional teams



Business Partnership & Advisory

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and internal teams on legal and regulatory matters
  • Support cross-functional projects and commercial initiatives
  • Serve as the primary legal contact within the assigned markets



Policies, Processes & Capability Building

  • Support implementation and communication of internal policies and procedures
  • Deliver training sessions related to legal and regulatory topics
  • Contribute to strengthening internal processes and operational consistency



Regulatory & Trade Compliance Support

  • Act as a central contact for trade compliance and related regulatory topics
  • Support roll-out of policies, procedures, and training initiatives
  • Monitor adherence to applicable requirements and internal standards

The Successful Applicant

  • Law degree from a reputable university in Vietnam
  • 7-10 years of relevant post-qualification experience
  • Experience in a multinational environment or established law firm preferred
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Demonstrated experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal advisory
