Job Description

As a Country Representative, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide hands-on technical support to customers through factory visits, product trials, troubleshooting activities, and performance evaluations, ensuring optimal application of products and timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Customer Engagement & Commercial Insight: Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their operational challenges, identifying unmet needs, monitoring market trends, and gathering competitive intelligence to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Product & Competitor Benchmarking: Conduct regular benchmarking studies against competitor products, evaluate technical performance, and provide data-driven recommendations to strengthen customer value propositions.
  • Field-Based Technical Leadership: Take ownership of technical projects independently, proactively visit customer sites, manage product evaluations, and drive issues through to successful resolution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales teams and regional Technical Service experts to ensure effective communication, accurate reporting, proper documentation, and seamless customer support.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Talent should have:

  • Bachelor's degree of Food Science Technology, Chemical or related background
  • Strong hands-on technical experience in manufacturing, production processes or customer-facing technical support within 10 years of experience.
  • A good combination of technical knowledge and commercial curiosity.
  • Confidence in dealing directly with customers and solving problems on-site.
  • Initiative in identifying new applications, customer needs and potential sales leads.
  • Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Fluent English
