The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility to ensure production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and cost objectives are achieved. This role leads cross-functional teams across production, maintenance, logistics, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize operational efficiency and productivity.

Job Description

Production Management

  • Provide leadership and direction to Production Managers across multiple manufacturing areas.
  • Monitor production schedules and resource utilization to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Optimize labor, equipment, and material utilization to maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes meet established quality and compliance standards.



Engineering & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead the Engineering function through the Engineering Manager.
  • Support process optimization, automation, equipment upgrades, and technology investments.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive waste reduction, productivity improvements, and operational excellence programs.



Operational Leadership

  • Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets.
  • Ensure operational performance aligns with business strategy and customer requirements.
  • Develop and execute operational plans to support growth, capacity expansion, and profitability objectives.
  • Drive accountability across production teams and establish a high-performance culture.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience and experience leading operations of 500+ employees.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality systems.
  • Understanding of HSE regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
