Job Description

As a Plastics Trader, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing trading activities in the plastics market.
  • Identifying and building relationships with key clients and suppliers.
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements to maximise profitability.
  • Monitoring market trends to identify trading opportunities.
  • Managing the logistics and supply chain for traded products.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Preparing and presenting regular market and performance reports.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to achieve sales targets and objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Plastics Trader should have:

  • A solid understanding of the plastics market and trading processes.
  • Proven skills in negotiation and relationship management.
  • Strong analytical abilities to assess market trends and opportunities.
  • Experience in managing contracts and logistics within trading activities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for trading and reporting.
  • Effective communication and organisational skills.
  • Chinese & English are mandatory
