Job Description

As a Signal Integrity Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Perform signal integrity and electromagnetic simulations for high-speed interconnect products
  • Develop and validate electrical models for connectors, cables, and communication systems
  • Conduct lab testing and characterisation using tools such as VNA, TDR, and oscilloscopes
  • Correlate simulation results with measured test data to ensure performance accuracy
  • Design test fixtures, characterisation boards, and verification methodologies
  • Analyse and optimise high-speed signal performance for customer applications
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and evaluation findings
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams, customers, and external vendors
  • Provide technical support and signal integrity expertise to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Drive R&D initiatives and contribute to next-generation connectivity technologies

The Successful Applicant

A successful Signal Integrity Engineer should have:

  • Strong expertise in Signal Integrity (SI) and Electromagnetic (EM) analysis
  • Experience with high-speed connectors, cables, or interconnect systems
  • Proficiency in simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, ADS, or Sigrity
  • Hands-on experience with VNA, TDR, and oscilloscope measurements
  • Ability to correlate simulation results with laboratory testing
  • Experience designing test fixtures, validation boards, and test procedures
  • Understanding of high-speed serial links and data communication systems
  • Scripting or automation skills (Python, MATLAB, etc.) are advantageous
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with global teams and customers
  • Fluent in English with strong technical communication skills
